About Southeast Wisconsin Performing Arts
Founded in 2005 by Kathryn Peperkorn, SEWPA (South East Wisconsin Performing Arts, Inc.) is an organization that serves to foster the Fine Arts through education, audience outreach and performance. Offering opera, dance, choral and instrumental music, SEWPA gives singers of all ages and backgrounds opportunities that will inspire and engage them, directed by some of the most talented professionals in the area. SEWPA provides a safe and encouraging environment that gives each young performer, not only the skills necessary to becoming an artist, but also to become confident young adults. SEWPA also offers opportunities for adults to feed their passion for the Fine Arts and performance. Whether rehearsing or performing, adults involved in SEWPA  will serve as mentors to the school and college age youth that are learning alongside them, demonstrating that involvement in the arts can and should be for life.
